The Truth Shall Set YOU Free!

No truer words could be spoken. Question is: What is truth?

The truth: something we as a people are constantly in search of.

Here are Websters top 3 definitions:

1.) the quality or state of being true; the quality of being in accordance with experience,facts, or reality; conformity with fact. Reality; actual existence. Agreement with standard, rule, etc.

2.) that which is true that accords with fact or reality

3.) an established; verified fact or principle

Now that you have read the definitions according to Websters (written by man) does that satisfy your search so now it can be ended? I didn't think so. Little vague is it?

Leave you with the question? And who decides what is reality; facts; actual experience?

Left wide open that could be interpreted - truth is whatever you say it is.

The quality of being in accordance with experience, conformity with fact.

(conformity: the condition of being in harmony; agreement; action in accordance with customs, rules, & prevailing opinion)

I don't know about you but, for me that doesn't sit well & leaves the door open to chaos as it has no order or direction. It could just be changed to whatever the group decides is harmony by their experience. Not by your free will or even your own experiences of life.

Personally, I have learned "Truth" is found in John 17:17

"Santify them through thy truth; thy word is the truth.

New to the world of blogs I started with a little ditty on Words and the effect they have on you and others. I will come back to that truth everytime: "Words do create"

By experience I know the words taught by Jesus are fabulous words to live by:

As words do create -whether they be spoken, in thought, or in deed: "Words rule."

Truth: it lies within and it's beginning was one spoken: I tell you once again.

Genesis 1: 1 - In the beginning God created heaven and earth: And God said....

Evolution: pshaw!! How could anything be created without design which comes from thought and where does thought begin: Words.

And that's the truth.

Throughout the next few verses it reads repeatedly "and God said" (words)

Last but, not least in His creation God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over all the earth, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." - Gen.1:26

(which by the way, He never took back)

He then formed man of the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life (a seed was planted); and man became a living soul. (not a puppet) Gen.2:7

That seed was the Spirit of God (remember He created us in His image)

So our Spirit within from the beginning was conscious.

Conscious: having a feeling or knowledge (Words within)

And we had common sense. (yes, we all have it, whether we choose to access it is another subject entirely. hahaha)

Proof of that truth: watch a child of 1 or 2 yrs. old touch things for the first time and you will see them look around..there spirit is seeking to find is this ok or not? Some choose, "nah, let's not go there." And others just have to give it a test.

God being the merciful; loving Father He is then began speaking to man sharing by experience His tools for living. Notice the first man, Adam was created with the ability to speak and understand the Father.

Knowing that, the most important tool He gave him was:

"Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat: But, of one the tree of knowledge of good & evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shall surely die.

(He was speaking of the death of the Spirit)

While immature in Spirit we weren't equiped to handle the trips of good & evil while still wet behind the ears. Man being in such a hurry he just couldn't wait to when tempted to grow up quickly. Just as it was then it is now oh so many want to grow up to quick.

Take a moment & check out John 17: 18-26

Then praise God for being so loving that He gave His only son.

It's in the tongue we hold our power, a two edged sword with which we speak...(Words )

These Words beget actions - actions form "the Truth" which beget our Reality.

You see it's YOU who are now creating right here on this ole earth?

And that's truth.

Life is all about choices & those choices are yours.

Without the Word there is no Truth...you see they walk hand in hand.

So today I ask you, What & whose words do you live by?

By experience I testify:

"His Truth has set me free"
