Gifts from God

July 12 I turned 52 yrs. young.
The age where you find yourself
"somewhere in between" - young at
heart but, no longer believing, I
can do it all. Yet, you also know -
I am not ready to grab a cane and
sit in the rocker either. In fact, it
is hard to believe you can't still do
everything a 30 yr.old can do.
So you try a couple of things your
kids are doing & quickly find you
are indeed no longer 20, 30, or 40.
I believe 50 to 75 are the
years you were designed to live
life to it's fullest & in moderation.
Seeds sown in youth, fertilized in
your teens, blooming & beautiful as
you plant new seeds thru your
20's & 30's. A time of riding the winds
of heaven and experiencing all that life
brings your way. In your 40's it seems
most tend to take a turn and walk a while
down the halls of common not sure which
way you should turn now. Then as
you enter the curve of the Big 50 & lost in
your confusion clarity of life presents itself .
It has arrived to let you know it is time
for the harvest. Stop! Be still...
Look within & without - it is
then - all the sudden you begin to
notice little gifts from God everywhere
you turn. You come to know it
is your time to dance, to know Him -
the divine lover - it is time to embrace
His Spirit within you and allow it
to carry you to heights you have never
known. It is time to take action on your
dreams, hopes, & desires...believing &
receiving all the "gifts of God"
Today I thank you, my friend, lover,
and confidant...for all your gifts
both inside & out that you have given.
