Did you know what you eat effects
your body heat? Today, I am
sharing a couple of recipes that are
not only healthy but, aid in the
fight to beat the heat.
Cool Beans Artichoke Salad
Cook 1 cup white beans leaving them
a bit crunchy. Steam 10 baby artichokes
8mins. peel and quarter, add 2 cups of
asparagus the last 2 minutes.
While cooking dice your radishes &
red onions. Then whisk together
2 tsp.lemon juice, 1 tblsp. olive oil,
1 tsp salt, 1 tsp pepper, & 3 cloves
of minced garlic pouring half over
your radishes & onions when finished.
Add you cooked ingredients, toss, &
place atop your romaine lettuce.
Finish off with your choice of nuts,
raisins, & drizzle remaining dressing.
There you have it! A cool dish full
of antioxidants needed during the
heat of summer. For dessert:
a cool treat of slice strawberries,
mangos, kiwi, & watermelon will
satisfy that sweet tooth. Unlike
chocolate that only adds pounds &
creates a thirst. smile
Relaxing suggestion: pack it all
in a pic a nic basket & head for
your favorite water spot. There
is nothing like the beauty of the
nature as you enjoy today's tools
to "beat the heat"...smile

of ice, water, or refreshing sun tea.
