Labor Day: a legal holidy created to honor
those who labor.
Have you ever looked up the definition
labor? First description: 1. hardship, pain
2. to work, toil 3. wage earning workers
who work hard to get or do something; strive.
That describes only a portion of society.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if on this day,
those who are so abundantly blessed &
don't have to labor daily had a heart of
true appreciation funding a company
picnic waiting on their laborers ending
the day with a truly honoring their
toil by giving just 2% of their riches
as a bonus. And for those smaller
companies that are laboring with their
employees..gather too and just serve
them for a day..making some commitments
to strive for a more dharmic (harmonious)
workplace respecting those who work
so hard to assist in the growth of their
business. Sounds like a dream almost
these days...instead we are lucky if we
get the day off and when we return
a dharmic environment is not what we
are returning to. You know attitude begins
at the top and trickles down..you can be
a most positive person but, when you
are surrounded by disrespect, poor ethics,
& demeaning treatment that positive light
tends to diminish..no matter who you are.
Best advise I can give today is:
Sometimes that trickle down can trickle
back up if you let the Christ within come
out and communicate your issues in Love.
And in some cases when this is continues
that toil can become a joy as you now work
in a condusive dharmic atmosphere.
So this week try turning the other cheek and
walk in His Love...note if you see a change in
the atmosphere...now if you don't maybe it is
time for you to find a job more equally yoked.
Get out and enjoy your day away from
LABOR...I am...smile
