Having Ears to Hear

Do you have ears to hear?
Have you ever had a situation
you aren't sure how to resolve
so you pray for an answer?
Then here comes a friend with
a suggestion, a good one yet
not the one you wanted so you
shoot it down. Then a pastor
gives a sermon and it is on
the money for your situation,
you say "Amen!" along with
the other parishoners but,
had closed ears...still praying
for an answer. Then weeks or
months later you hear the Words
said that day and realize He heard
you and answered. I say to you
today, pay attention His answers
come in many forms often from
places you least expected.
From this day forward I say,
Be aware, Listen..sure would hate
for you to miss His boat.
